
How do I pay for my order?
We accept Visa and MasterCard. After you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation.
When will my order be shipped?
In most cases orders will processed and shipped within two-three business days. Business days are Monday through Friday. Express orders take priority but we cannot guarantee same-day shipping. Please call 510.528.8040 or email info@purrfumery.com before 11:00 a.m. PST to inquire about same-day shipping so we can make your package a top priority. If any of the items you have ordered are out of stock, we will hold your order until the items come in. If for any reason this takes more than three business, we will notify you by email. Allow extra processing and shipping time during holiday seasons.
How are most orders shipped?
Most of our orders are shipped via USPS, First-Class Mail or Priority Mail.
Shipping costs are based upon the total price of the order: Shipping may be more expensive depending on the weight of the package and destination the package is shipped to.

How do you send a Gift certificate?
Gift vouchers can be found online on our gifts page. The vouchers are available in various amounts: $25 $50 $75 $100 $150 $200 $250 $300 $400 $500 $1000
You have the option to include a gift-card message along with the gift certificate. Gift certificates are generally mailed First-Class, free-of-charge.
How do I redeem my gift certificate?
You may redeem your gift certificate online or by phone. If you have enough funds on the gift certificate to cover the cost of your order you will not be required to enter any credit card information. If you do not have enough funds on your gift certificate to cover your entire order, you will be required to pay the remaining balance by credit card. Unused balances are good for Velvet & Sweet Pea's Purrfumery store credit only and not redeemable for cash.
Do you ship internationally?
We are happy to ship internationally. Please place your order by phone 510.528.8040 or email info@purrfumery.com. Once you place your order with us we will provide you with a quote for the shipping rate. Please let us know if you have any special shipping requests, such as next day delivery. As soon as your credit card charges have been processed we will proceed with shipping your order. Some countries do not allow shipment of alcohol-based perfumes, in which case you may be able to custom order our perfumes in an organic oil base. This process may delay your shipment by one to two months. We ONLY ship USPS, UPS, and DHL.
Can I order by phone?
Although we offer a secure server for online ordering, we understand that some people do not feel comfortable ordering online or do not have online access. We welcome orders by phone at 510.528.8040 Monday-Friday from 12:00 p.m. PST to 5:00 p.m. PST.
Will I pay sales tax?
California state law requires that we charge applicable sales tax (9.25%) on orders shipped to addresses in the state of California. Orders shipped to addresses outside of California will not be charged sales tax.
What is your return policy?
For reasons of hygiene we regretfully do not allow returns, although of course if something is received broken or was shipped in error, it will be refunded or replaced.
DAMAGED ITEMS: Inspect packages at the time of delivery. If you received damaged items, such as a broken bottle, please contact Velvet & Sweet Pea's Purrfumery, LLC immediately. Please retain the damaged article and container (including packaging, wrapping, and any other contents received) until we have resolved the claim fully with USPS. Please email us at returns@purrfumery.com or phone 510.528.8040 prior to returning any items so that we can issue you a Return Authorization Number and discuss return shipping options. After return and verification of the damage claim, a replacement item will be shipped.
ITEMS SHIPPED IN ERROR: If you received the wrong items in your order please email us at returns@purrfumery.com or phone 510.528.8040 prior to returning any items so that we can issue you a Return Authorization Number. Unopened and sealed items may be returned for exchange or credit up to 14 days after the shipping date. We will credit your account within 10 business days of receipt of returned items. Returns will not be refunded without a Return Authorization Number issued from our office.
Typographical Errors or Inaccuracies
While Velvet & Sweet Pea’s Purrfumery,LLC strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, typographical errors or inaccuracies may occur. Velvet & Sweet Pea’s Purrfumery,LLC reserves the right to correct any typographical errors or inaccuracies and to alter or update information at any time without notice. Typographical errors or inaccuracies may relate to product descriptions, product photo, product pricing, shipping cost, or product availability.
In the event that a product is listed or purchased with incorrect product description, product photo, product price, shipping cost, or product availability Velvet & Sweet Pea’s Purrfumery,LLC reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for that product, whether or not the order has been confirmed by receipt or your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has been charged and your order is canceled, Velvet & Sweet Pea’s Purrfumery,LLC shall promptly issue a credit to your credit card in the full amount of the order charge.
