Velvet & Sweet Pea’s Face and Body Frostings take hydrating your skin to a new and decadent level – imagine moisturizing with a cloud. These luxurious frostings nourish dry and dehydrated skin with a combination of organic oils rich in antioxidants and high in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for regenerative, anti-aging power.
We start by infusing organic jojoba oil with rich Tahitian vanilla beans, a process that takes over half a year. Then we blend in generous amounts of organic shea butter, virgin oil de coco crème, and organic oils of marula, avocado, red raspberry seed, rose hip seed, sesame, safflower, and vitamin E for ultimate skin nourishment and revitalization.
Each batch is a labor of love, made without water and literally whipped into the consistency of creamy soft whipped frosting. I love to spray on a hydrosol first and then lock in the moisture with the frosting!
Tuberose Gardenia Whipped Face & Body Frosting
Sensual, heady, and deeply complex, the fragrance of this frosting comes not from essential oils but directly from pure gardenia and tuberose enfleurage butters. Extremely rare and unlike anything else currently being produced, these enfleurage butters are created on a tiny organic farm in Columbia that is reviving an ancient perfumery technique to capture the flowers’ fragrant oils directly rather than extracting or distilling them.
Kashmir Rose Whipped Face & Body Frosting
Timeless and unabashedly romantic, this rich combination of Himalayan Rose otto and Moroccan Rose absolute is sweetly floral but never cloying. Applied to the skin, essence of rose is anti-inflammatory, soothing and a cell rejuvenator and rose scent is both an aphrodisiac and stress reducer!
Orange Blossom Whipped Face & Body Frosting
This gorgeous and uplifting moisturizer, made with Italian Neroli flowers and organic tangerine and orange essence oils, is especially healing and regenerative for mature and dry skin. Dreamy Neroli blossoms calm and soothe, and bright, juicy citrus is a natural antidepressant.
Velvet and Sweet Pea’s Frostings are whipped to a decadent, creamy texture, but our all-natural ingredients may lose volume when exposed to high heat. Because of this we will not be shipping frosting during the hottest months, and we recommend that you keep your frostings in the fridge during the hottest part of summer.
Calliope Body and Bath Oil
Luxurious and gentle enough for everyday use, this oil makes an excellent moisturizing bath, body and massage oil for skin of any type.
Deliciously scented essential oils and hydrodistillations, most of them organic, are added to a base of organic vanilla infused jojoba, marula (Africa's "miracle oil"), red raspberry seed, evening primrose, rose hip and avocado oils. This base is exceptionally pure and rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, essential components for the maintenance of healthy skin. Soothing and softening, Velvet and Sweet Pea's body oils can also be used for heavenly scented massage or as a moisturizing bath oil.
A complex and sensually delicious body oil containing rich frankincense, narcotic night- and dawn-blooming jasmines, organic Italian orange blossom, Comoros ylang ylang, Bulgarian rose otto, aphrodisiac black pepper, and organic blood orange peel. With therapeutic properties ranging from antidepressant to aphrodisiac, this luscious blend is sure to transport you to an enchanted state of mind.
