Made with a mixture of Israeli Dead Sea salts and gorgeous Brazilian sea salt crystals that resemble pieces of quartz, these bath salts look as beautiful as they smell!

Laurie's husband Gary, a landscape architect, has been know to get a little cranky when they run out of their home supply of Terrain bath salts. This earthy blend scented with soothing notes of citrus and germanium, was created for him by Lauri to enhance the nighttime baths he takes to ease his insomnia.

Perfumer Laurie Stern and her kitty muses, Velvet and Sweet Pea, believe that all of life -- from the moment you wake up to start your day to your sweet, perfumed dreams at night -- can and should be full of wonderful scent. Not artificial fragrances like the dishwashing liquids and laundry detergents that can impose themselves on our days, but rather the healing, joy-bringing scents of nature that we can wrap ourselves in to delight our often neglected fifth sense. Laurie treasures the ritual and luxury of perfume itself, but she also finds ways to incorporate healing aroma-therapeutic scent into her home life, and here she offers some of these blends to you. Unlike most products made by bath companies or strictly for use in aromatherapy, each of these delicious concoctions is made with a perfumer’s nose. The most important element in their design is that they smell entirely yummy -— balanced, complex, luxurious -- to this end they are created with the same care and alchemy that goes into creating the Purrfumery’s fine perfumes.
